Main purpose: To develop and implement the SIU’s remuneration strategy and processes while maintaining effective and efficient remuneration administration and management principles. Minimum qualification and experience: NQF Level 8 – Honours Degree in HR management or equivalent. SARA accreditation as a Reward Specialist and /or Global Remuneration Professional) GRP) an added advantage. Six to Eight years of proven experience as a Remuneration Specialist, of which, four years must be at a management level. Key performance areas (Include but not limited to): Remuneration analysis. Knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g. basic Conditions and Employment Act). Knowledge of Corporate Governance requirements. Sound knowledge of the applicable HR legislation. Agile thinking.
